Dr. Azeez, Asif Olatubosun is a Muslim Nigerian, male and Principal Lecturer in the department of Islamic Studies, Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu – Ijebu, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is a Ph.D holder in Islamic Studies with special interest in Da`wah and Islamic Economic System. He has a good number of articles in both international and local journals. He has also attended many local and international conferences and workshops. Dr. Azeez A. O. has acquired teaching experience in tertiary institutions (College and University) for a period of fifteen years. He is currently the head of Islamic Studies department, Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu – Ijebu. Dr. Azeez has also been recognized for his tremendous contributions towards peaceful co-existence and welfare of the people in his community.

He is a co-founder of Al-Hayat Relief Foundation, served as Treasurer for fifteen years and Chairman of many branches of the foundation. He is a Certified Microfinance Banker of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (Microfinance Certification Programmed) MCIB.

Daud Abdul Baki is a distinguished scholar and philanthropist from Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria. His academic and professional journey is marked by a deep commitment to Islamic knowledge and community service.

Dr. Daud Abdul Baki holds a PhD in Islamic Jurisprudence from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which he completed with distinction. His research expertise lies in Islamic finance, with a notable dissertation titled “Financial Products and Tools from the Chapter of Al-Qard (Loan) till Al-Hawaalah (Transfer of Debts)”.

Currently, Dr. Daud Abdul Baki serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Supervisor of Al-Amaanah Charitable Foundation, where he provides leadership and guidance to the organization’s philanthropic initiatives. He is also Director of Academic Affairs and Lecturer at Al Amaanah Institute of Islamic Studies, affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

With over three decades of teaching experience, Dr. Baki has imparted Islamic knowledge to numerous students. He has participated in various conferences and seminars, contributing to scholarly discourse and community development. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Muslim Zakawaat and Sadaqaat Foundation (MUZASAF) and has served as an Assistant Researcher at Tamayyuz Research Center, focusing on Fiqh of Contemporary Issues.

Through his remarkable journey, Dr. Daud Abdul Baki has established himself as a leading figure in Islamic academia and philanthropy, inspiring countless individuals and contributing to community development.

Dr. DABIRI MOHAMMAD ALFRUQAN

Mohammed Dabiri is a versatile professional with over two decades of rich experience spanning banking, project planning, monitoring and implementation, and the academia in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Since 2009, Mohammad has worked with Crescent University, Abeokuta as a lecturer, administrator, academic researcher, and the official University Orator.
As a lecturer and academic researcher, he teaches and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate thesis and conducts research on profitability and liquidity of Islamic banks in UK and Malaysia. He also teaches Management Information Systems and Data Processing, Corporate Finance, Anti-Money Laundering and Business Ethics combining this with administrative responsibilities as University Director of ICT.
Prior to this, he has worked as a compliance consultant and KYC analyst with Citibank NA and Diamond Bank both in the UK conducting periodic Due Diligence (Enhanced) reviews of corporate customers in line with the bank’s KTC/CDD policies and regulatory requirements.

In 2012, Mohammad obtained a diploma in Islamic Finance from the UK-based AIMS Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance starting what has since become a lifelong journey into the starting his journey of scholarship.

Mohammad holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Lagos, a postgraduate diploma in Distributed Computing System from the University of Greenwich (UK), and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School (UK), and a Ph. D in Islamic Finance and Banking from University Utara, Malaysia.

AbdulRahman Abdullah Oluwatosin holds a Master’s in Islamic Banking and Finance from Bayero University, Kano (2024), and a B.A. in Islamic Studies from Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin (2020). He also earned a Diploma in Shariah and Common Law from the College of Legal Studies, Ilorin (2016).

He is currently the Internal Shari’ah Auditor/Compliance Officer at Hayat Trust Non-Interest Microfinance Bank, where he contributes to upholding ethical financial standards. He has attended several Islamic finance conferences, both virtual and physical, and participated in high-level strategic sessions organized by the Non-Interest Financial Institutions Association of Nigeria (NIFIAN). One notable session convened MDs, CEOs, and Chairpersons of Islamic financial institutions across Nigeria to deliberate on the state, challenges, and opportunities in the non-interest financial sector.

AbdulRahman is deeply passionate about Islamic finance and committed to its growth in Nigeria. He is also experienced in the frozen food industry, having served as Purchasing Manager and Vendor at Azhak Frozen Foods, managing supply chains for major clients like Kilimanjaro Restaurants. His core skills include financial and data analysis, risk management, and team leadership.
