Professor. Salako Taofiki Ajani was born at Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria on 20th September 1961. He is a Professor of Islamic Studies Education / Curriculum Studies / Islamic Finance. He had his B. A. (Ed) in Islamic Studies, M. ED. in Curriculum Studies at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos and his Ph.D in Islamic Studies Education at the Islamic Science University of Malaysia. He has served in various capacities at Tai Solarin University of Education. He is currently the Director, Distance Learning Institute of Tai Solarin University of Education. He is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Al-Hayat Relief Foundation and pioneer President of the foundation. He was a former member, Board of Directors of Al-Hayat Microfinance Bank Limited, Ijebu-Ode, member Al-Hayat Medical Centre Board of Directors, Chairman Al-Hayat Zakat, Sadaqat and Waqf Foundation, member Shariah Advisory Board of Al-Hayat Relief Foundation and Chairman, Board of Directors, Hayat Trust Non Interest Microfinance Bank Limited.

Musa Abiodun Raheem is the pioneer MD/CEO of Hayat Trust Non-Interest Bank Ltd. He was a key member of the team that led the process leading to approval and granting of license to Hayat Trust Non-interest Microfinance Bank Ltd, first of its kind in southern Nigeria. He was instrumental to developing the Bank’s overall strategic plan and comprehensive framework that guides the Bank’s operations and overall goals and objectives.

Mr. Raheem has over 10 years cognate experience in microfinancing and risk management. He was the MD/CEO of Al-Hayat Microfinance Bank and performed excellently towards transferring the Bank to the new investors and successful settlement of all stakeholders of the Bank.

He holds HND in Accounting and BSc in Economies from the Polytechnic Ibadan and University of Ibadan respectively. He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and Certified Microfinance Banker of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He is also a Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA) and Certified Shariah Auditor and Adviser (CSAA) of Accounting and Auditing  Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).

He has attended several local and international trainings, seminars and workshops.

Mr. Fatai Adesina Balogun was born on 16th January, 1971. He attended Christ Church Porogun Alapo School, Ijebu Ode for his Primary Education between 1976 and 1983 and Adeola Odutola College, Ijebu Ode where he obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1988. He graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin in 1995 with Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and had a First Class Degree in Accounting from Lead City University, Ibadan. He obtained Advance Diploma in Forensic Accounting and Criminal Intelligence from University of Lagos and Professional Certificate in Islamic Micro Finance from Bayero University, Kano. He is a member of the International Academy of Forensics (IAF), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP). He had served in different capacities at Al-Hayat Reflief Foundation such as the National Financial Secretary (2009 – 2012), National Treasurer (2012 – 2018), and National Auditor (2018 to 2024). He equally occupies the position of Chairman, Board Audit Committee of Al-Hayat Micro Finance Bank Ltd. from 2014 – 2019. He is currently a Chief Executive officer (Audit) at the University of Lagos and a Board member of Hayat Trust Non-Interest Micro-Finance Bank Ltd.

Mr Olaniyan Oladele Ambali was born in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria on 1st January 1960. He is a Microfinance Certified banker of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Member of the British Institute of Administrative Management, holder of Certificate in Islamic Microfinance banking and MBA degree from Delta State University, Abraka Nigeria. A retired banker with over twenty seven years Commercial and Microfinance banking experience.


Barrister Yahya Muhammed Shittu was born in Epe, Lagos State, Nigeria on the 25th day of July 1971. He is a Legal Practitioner. He studied Islamic and Common Law at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He served in various capacities at Epe Branch of Al-Hayat Relief Foundation. He was the Company Secretary and former member, Board of Directors of Al-Hayat Microfinance Bank Limited and the Secretary, Board of Directors, Hayat Trust Non-Interest Microfinance Bank Limited.

Dr. Taofiq Mabayoje Salisu was born October 10, 1948 at Ijebu-Ode. He attended the Local Authority Primary School, Ijebu-Ode, 1955-1960. Ijebu Muslim College, 1962-1967 and obtained WASC. He attended the University of Ibadan, 1968-1972 and 1973-1974 obtaining B.A. (Hons.) Arabic and Islamic Studies and Postgraduate Diploma in Librarianship respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science of the University of Pittsburgh, USA in 1980. He was appointed an Assistant Librarian at the University of Lagos in 1974 and rose to the level of Principal Librarian in 1983 and was appointed the Pioneer University Librarian of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in February, 1991. On the completion of his term he was appointed the Pioneer Director of AG Leventis Memorial Centre for Learning (LEMCEL). He was also appointed as the Pioneer Director of Institute for Human Resources Development (INHURD)for four years. He was charged with the establishment of the Office of Advancement of the University in 2012 which he nurtured until he retired from the University in 2014. Dr. Salisu has had Visiting appointments at Concord Press of Nigeria, 1986-87; School of Library and Information Science, University of Pittsburgh, 1987. Visiting Assistant Professor, University of Oklahoma,1988. National Agricultural Library of USDA, 1993 and Exchange Research Visitor, University of Tennessee at Knoxville, 2002. Tai Solarin University of Education, 2011-2012. He is Chairman of various social organizations and institutions. He is currently an Independent Director of Hayat Trust Non-Interest Micro Finance Bank ltd.
